How Much does it Cost?

Each session at Furness Music Centre is charged termly (with three terms a year). and the costs are set out below.  We always suggest that new members come along for a few weeks to make sure that it is for them before paying us

We try to keep everything as affordable as possible, but if cost is an issue at all for you, please have a quiet word with Peter Fitzpatrick our treasurer (either in person or by email or phone - details on the Contact Points page)  As a charity we are able to offer discounted and free places.  There are no set conditions for this - we have found this makes things far too complicated' Just speak to us and we will find a way for you to play or sing with us (or both!)

We offer reduced 'child' fees to anyone in full time education, including apprenticeships.  Just let us know if you are in continuing education

Fees are payable at the beginning of each term (generally January, May and September) but we will take payment at any time during the term.  You can pay either in cash or by cheque at a rehearsal (just hunt out Peter who is likely to be in the staff room opposite the main rehearsal room between sessions.  Or you can set up a standing order to pay either termly, every two months or monthly (just divide the fees appropriately).  Bank details are available here, or ask Peter for them one Saturday.  We also hope to be able to take payment directly via the web site in due course.
